The verticle axis is intensity, the horizontal axis is time in seconds. The temperature profile is not displayed in this example. Two files can be open simulataneously. One is designated as the Sample and the other as the Reference. The curves of each file can be displayed, "synchronized" on the time axis and compared. Only one file is open in the example below. (The peaks are not perfectly aligned because the 4 detectors are separated by a small distance.)
The user configures the Powermap by setting the sample rate and by choosing the UV detectors that will be used for the next mapping. If the sample rate is reduced, the maximum measuring time will increase. The same is true if one or the other detector is turned off. In the example below, all four UV detectors ar On and the sample rate is set to its maximum of 2048 Hz. This results in a 2 minute period of measurement.
In Data View, the total energy in Joules or milliJoules for each part of the spectrum is displayed. When a Reference file is also open, the difference and percent difference is displayed. The calculations can be based on a section of the time scale.
